Free WIFI is a good idea - of this I can assure you. Cheers to New York city for starting a pilot program to turn old pay phones into free wifi hotspots. 

Also, cheers to Richard Branson (a really cool dude all around) for signing up his own family to ride on the maiden voyage of his infantile space tourism program. As soon as the price drops out of the seven figure range, I'll be signing up my family!

Space tourism means private companies innovating space travel. Space travel is another good idea. Ignoring the obvious benefits that space age technology has had on our every day lives, one has to keep in mind the most obvious impetus first...
